fter the MLAs and MLCs and other public representatives from Andhra and Rayalaseema withdrew their resignations, it was the turn of Telangana leaders to go on a resignation spree on Thursday.
As many as 93 MLAs and MLCs from Telangana resigned till the last reports came in. Speaker N Kirankumar Reddy, however, said he had received 45 resignation letters so far. While all the TRS MLAs and MLCs, apart from KCR and Vijayashanti for their MP seats, quit their posts, a large number of Congress MLAs, too, are submitting their resignations.
As many as 39 TDP legislators from Telangana, too, have claimed that they too had submitted their resignations and announced that they would join the movement.
