Bala Krishna says "My Remarks were not about Ram Charan"

In the wake of controversy about his recent remarks, Balakrishna today (Nov 3) clarified that he didn't criticize Ram Charan at all. "My remarks were not about Ram Charan," he said, putting an end to the controversy. He also said that megastar Chiranajeevi is his good friend. 

"Both Chiru and Mohan Babu are dear friends to me in the film industry. I didn't say anything against Ram Charan. I only said anyone from our industry should not demean Telugu filmmakers. If they do, I will continue to react but my remarks were not aimed at Charan babu," he said. 

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Balakrishna gave clarification on this issues and as well as on his alleged remarks against Telangana. "Neither did I say that Andhra Pradesh be united or separated. A section is trying to malign me. To me, every region is same and I love all."

Jr. NTR Unhappy with Bala Krishna's Open Letter

Telugu movies A1 Star is annoyed with uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna's open letter to media. Jr NTR expressed unhappiness over Balakrishna's open letter to media and said that was questioning his uncle's stand on the ongoing cold war between Nara and Nandamuri family.  For the last couple of weeks, something's extremely brewing between Nandamuri and Nara family and this family issue is hogging the limelight in the state and has s become a hot topic amongst both film and political circles.

Sources say that the rift between Vijaywada TDP leaders Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Devineni Uma is the prime reason for all these complications. Under Teja Cinema banner, producer  C Kalyan is making a movie "Param Veer Chakra" with Nandamuri Balakrishna playing the dual roles of hero and Amisha Patel, Neha Dhupia and Sheela as the female leads in Dasari Narayana Rao's direction. The flick's talkie part has been done and with filming of remaining two songs in foreign locations, its making would be completed.

"Simha" in April Second Week

With Nandamuri Balakrishna as hero and "Bhadra", "Thulasi" fame director Boyapati Srinu weilding the megaphone, Paruchuri Kireeti is making a movie titled "Simha" on United Movies banner. Its songs are being filmed in Ramoji Film City in an expensive set erected for this purpose. Speaking about the movie, its producer said " we are filming a song in RFC set with hero Balakrishna, heroines Sneha Ullal, Namitha. With this, its shoot will be completed. At present re-recording is going on. Audio will be released in the last week of March and the movie in the second week of April." Director Boyapati Srinu said " Balayyababu's character's name in the film carries the title "Simha" in it. We are showing him in a different angle. He has performing very very well in this movie." The star cast includes the heroines Nayanatara, Namitha, Sneha Ullal, Raghu, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Adithya Menon, K.R.Vijaya, Bramhanandam, Venumadhav, Ali and others. Music is by Chakri and story, dialogues and direction by Boyapati Srinu.

Balakrishna sports new look in 'Simha'

Looks like Balakrishna is playing a mature role in his forthcoming Simha. He sports slight beard with curled moustache. The stills were released now. Being directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film is in the last leg of production. Producer Parachuri Kiriti informs: “We have completed the shooting part except two songs. And those two songs are to be filmed on Balakrishna, Namitha and Sneha Ullal and the other one on Balakrishna and Sneha Ullal from March 17th at Ramoji Film City. We are hoping to release it in the second week of April.”
Simha also stars Nayanatara as heroine. Chakri scores the music and the songs are to be released this month end.

Another flop movie of Balaya is ready for release

MITRUDU which is the next movie of Balakrishna is ready to hit the screens on May 1^st 2009. The movie features Priyamani and Balakrishna in the lead and is being directed by Mahadev who is making his debut as a director.

Manisharma is the music director for this movie and already the music is being on all popular radio stations. Recently, the censor board certified the whole movie MITRUDU with a U/A certification. The movie is said to be filled with some double meaning dialogues which are common in Balaya movies. It is a fact that Balakrishna’s movies usually have dual meaning dialogues like “Nee Boddulo Na bongu”, base badalavuthindi and etc.

Priyamani who created waves in tollywood by donning a bikini in one of her latest releases will be seen in modern outfits in this film. The outfits will be revealing her upper assets and her naval region to maximum extent and her inner thighs will also get exposed on screen in two scenes. The main highlight of the movie will be a wet song which is a duet in between Priyamani and Balakrishna. The unit sources reveal that Balaya babu enjoyed doing this song as Priyamani was liberal in all aspects while performing in a wet sari with all her inner wear revealing on camera.

The movie is going to release with 250 prints and Balakrishna is excepting a blockbuster hit with this film. But the film nagar trade pundits predict that this movie is another flop with a dull storyline and some extra heavy dialogues.

NBK to campaign from 29

With barely 100 days to go for elections in Andhra Pradesh, heroes Balakrishna and Pawan Kalyan are readying up for campaign for their respective parties  Telugu Desam Party and Prajarajyam. That means, both these stars will not be participating actively in the shootings of their current films. Balakrishna informed the media on Sunday that he won’t be participating in the shooting next month as he would be busy with campaign work for party.
“I am beginning to work for the party and mobilize support for it from January 29th from Hindupuram in Ananthapur district. The town is special to our family - it was my father’s constituency too,” NBK told the journos after paying homage to NTR on his death anniversary. 

Balakrishna is currently shooting for new director Mahadev’s film that is being produced by Krishna Prasad. Major part of the shooting has been wrapped up and it is scheduled for summer release. But he will be giving a break to the current schedule after 29th for a month. 

On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan will also start his ‘padayatra’ from Kondagattu in Karimnagar district from next week.

It will be a poetic justice if Balakrishna takes over the mantle of Telugu Desam Party.
Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi is saying ‘change’ as his main objective.  TDP president Chandrababu Naidu already said that he had changed!

When NTR declared Balakrishna as his heir in politics, Naidu forced to change it.  Initially, Naidu did not care Jr NTR.  When he came to know that Jr NTR has sizeable fan following among the Nandamuri heroes, he started to use him. Taraka Ratna did not digest the fact that Jr NTR is being given importance and he was virtually ignored by not calling to the first two luncheon meetings at Naidu’s residence.  Tarak started a different campaign saying that Balakrishna will be the CM candidate.  Of course, Taraka Ratna took volte face.

Ironically, Naidu is worried about the super success of yuva garjana.  Most of the Nandamuri fans will attend the meeting.  Balaiah fans may demand their pound of flesh in the party.

Nandamuri family members are cynosure of all eyes

 Huge crowds are thronging the venue of  Yuva Garjana here to witnessthe debut of film star Nandamuri Balakrishna in politics on Wednesday evening. There is so much excitement among the Telugu Desam party (TDP) activists on the prospects of the party once being led by Balakrishna, son of party founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. According to estimates by the party leaders, the crowd is swelling by hour at the venue with more people pouring into the city from all directions. As many as 50,000 people have already arrived in Vijayawada on their way to Guntur. TDP MLA Paritala Sunita, who is entrusted with the job of transporting the activists from Vijayawada to Guntur, said the party had deployed 110 buses to transport the people. The buses had so far made 50 trips between Vijayawada and Guntur so far by 12 noon, she said.
A life-size portrait of Balakrishna has been fastened on the dais in a hurry following the demand from the activists of Nandamuri Fans Association. The people started making to the city from the early hours by all means of transport. They look so excited over the entry of Balakrishna, one of the Nandamuri family members, into politics.

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, who was to have travelled to Guntur from Vijayawada airport by road, flew in here by helicopter for security reasons. Balakrishna, Kalyanram and Tarakratna are yet to arrive.

Meanwhile, Nandamuri Harikrishna has been supervising all the arrangements for the meeting, which is billed to be the biggest show by the TDP after its defeat in the last elections.

The fans associations of Telugu thespian N T Rama rao and Balakrishna have taken most of the responsibility of organising the public meeting. Though politicians, belonging to the TDP, are also taking part, Nanamuri family members remain cynosure of all eyes

Nandamuri Balakrishna has begun the speech the way his father used to say... “aakasham baddalainda, nela eeninda..”

Balaiah attacked the present government comparing the present situation with Naidu’s rule.

Balaiah quoted John F Kennedy’s famous quotation, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”

Balaiah delivered the speech by walking on the stage without referring to any notes.  The speech was short but powerful like his film dialogues.

Garjana grand success!

 

NBK at Yuvagarjana in Guntur Nandamuri Balakrishna on Wednesday (Nov 5) took plunge into active politics. The stage for his political entry was Yuva Garjana, a political meeting held by Telugu Desam Party. And it was a grand success. Over 10 lakh people attended the mammoth meeting on the sprawling campus of Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur. NBK's  political arangetram was well recieved by his fans. NBK is also extremely happy. “Naa Gunde Nindindi..Naa Kallu Challabaddayi,”  he said in his maiden political speech. Although his speech was short, his fans went into frenzy when he delivered the speech. He vowed to help bring TDP back to power and also asked his fans to extend the support for the party. In his speech, he attacked the current government and said that democracy had touched nadir in its rule. Two small aircraft showered flower petals on the dais and on the crowd. TDP leaders claimed that 15 lakh people attended the meeting. So huge was the crowd that the  national highway No.5 was clogged. There were massive traffic jams up to 50 km. Chandrababu Naidu, Balakrishna and Harikrishna reached the venue by two helicopters as thousands of vehicles were stranded on all the roads leading to the venue. Apart from NBK, the other Nandamuri stars - Harikrishna, Kalyan Ram, Tarakaratna - also attended the meeting. Hero NTR gave a miss due to differences with TD President Chandrababu Naidu over an 'assembly seat'. But he is expected to convass for the party before the polls. NTR is shooting for his current film in Hyderabad.
