The current political situation in our state has reached a dramatic level now and there have been many ups and downs in between. What started off as an ordinary Telangana agitation has now triggered an aggressive and intense reaction asking for a unified state.
The heads of various parties have now clarified their stand on the issue. Notable among them happen to be three members, they are Chiranjeevi, Y S Jagan, Lagadapati Rajgopal. Announcing that they are only for Samaikya Andhra, the trio has created a new wave.
Now, a thought has emerged among the political pundits and they are wondering what if the three leaders get together to form a separate party on their own? Unified Andhra is their common goal, they hail from different communities and all three of them are financially powerful.
While Lagadapati is very strong in politics and its format, Jagan has got a very strong political background and following, as for Chiru, he is a novice in politics but then he still has the appeal of the megastar.
The perception is if Lagadapati’s resignation is accepted then he will have to contest as an independent. For Jagan, Sonia has not been showing any favoritism after the death of YSR. Given the deep rooted and long standing business relationship that both Jagan and Lagadapati share, they can join hands and become one. If Chiru is intelligent, he would be smart enough to join hands with the two and make his presence felt, in that case. While the thought remains if the Kapus will agree for this, history has shown that they have not been problem mongers. This will be the union of three crucial communities if the trio gets together and forms a Samaikya party.
Right now, three of them are in different directions and if the ‘Triveni Sangamam’ happens keeping aside the caste barriers and working towards the common objective of uplifting the Telugus, then they will become the undisputable leaders who can carry the responsibility of Andhra Pradesh for the next few decades.
