Governor's good wishes to Chiru
AP Governor ND Tiwari called megastar Chiranjeevi on Sunday night and expressed good wishes to him on the launch of new political party. He further appreciated Chiru for having the inclination towards social service with a clear-cut perspective. In return, Chiranjeevi profusely thanked the governor.
150 NRIs arrive in city for Chiru
About 150 NRIs from the USA and Canada have today arrived in Hyderabad by a charted flight to meet Chiranjeevi. A big gathering of mega fans reached Samshabad airport and welcomed the NRIs. They said that they had been waiting for the much-anticipated hour of Chiranjeevi's political entry and now that the actor declared his decision, they wanted to extend the best of their cooperation to him.
Chiranjeevi’s dinner to Telugu film industry
Chiranjeevi is going to call the entire Telugu film industry for a dinner party today as he is bidding adieu as a regular film star and entering the politics in a big way. He would be inviting everybody from film industry irrespective of which political party they belong. Chiranjeevi expressed his willingness to act in selected movies only if they are educative to the society. But he categorically stated that he will not act in commercial movies anymore.
Kathi Padma Rao joins Chiru party
Prolific writer of Dalit literature Kathi Padma Rao today joined Chiranjeevi's party. He reached the party office at Jubilee Hills and flanked megastar Chirajeevi, Kathi Padma Rao said that he was inspired by selfless service of the actor and his wide following all over the state. He expressed confidence that Chiranjeevi would extend the best leadership to the state and would make social justice a reality.
I will support Hari Prasad family: Chiranjeevi
Chiranjeevi remembered his days with Hari Prasad as a roommate when he was studying film acting. Hari Prasad died due to cardiac arrest while giving an interview about Chiranjeevi yesterday to a private TV channel. Hari Prasad’s body would be kept in the premises of Film Chamber of Commerce till the evening today. His body would be cremated at SR Nagar cremation area.
Murali Mohan’s secret charity
Yesteryears hero, present real estate tycoon and billionaire Murali Mohan is said to be giving lots of secret donations to the needy and worthy people. As per the sources of idlebrain.com, he recently sponsored 4 lacs to a student who secured admission in BITS Pilani. He has also done many charities, but unlike most of the film celebrities Muralu Mohan wants those donations to be kept as a secret. Keep the good work going!!!
Satya Krishnan as Government
Satya Krishnan (Anand fame) is acting as heroine in Posani Krishna Murali’’s Mental Krishna. This film is about a wife being tortured by a psycho and impotent husband (played by Posani). She is also selected as the heroine in Posani Krishna Murali’s next film Government. This film is being prepared in the lines of Pratighatana with Satya Krishnan leading the show. Posani is planning to start the film in November this year and release it before the general elections next year. Mohan Vadlapatla – an NRI who also produces Mallepuvvu - produces these films.
Black and White on Aug 22
Black and White, starring Jackie Shroff and Rajiv Kanakala in the lead roles with Sindhu Tolani playing the heroine, is going to release on August 22. The film is produced by Uday Kiran and directed Srikanth Vemulapalli. Jackie Shroff does the role of a CBI officer. Rajiv Kanakala is seen in an action-packed role.
