The actress was on cloud nine disclosing the film’s progress at a press meet at Annapurna Seven Acres in the city on Monday. Charmme will be seen oozing out with oodles of positive energy in the film.
"I play Angel, a character which I have never done and remains one of my favourite characters. It has brought out my innate skills which you can see in my imitation of Rajnikant, Kamal Haasan, Pawan Kalyan, Raviteja and Sunil," she said.
While the film’s director Prabu Solomon chose to describe her role simply as a Lady Rajnikant.
"Charmme’s role has got different dimensions. She rides bike, imitates people in this bilingual. When it comes to the title, the count down starts when the hero and heroine meet and on the 16th day it culminates in the climax," said the director.
Chinni Prakash, who choreographed songs for films like Jodha Akbar, has choreographed a song in the film. "The song has been shot in a true Hollywood style. It has been picturised on Charmme and Russian cheergirls," explained the choreographer.
Currently shooting for an introductory song at Annapurna Seven acres the film is all about how she lives and perceptions. It tries to say: ‘Think positive and take life positive’.
Charmme has another reason to smile about because she has a romantic duet in the film. "So far I have not had a duet. All the songs were one sided. And this film has fulfilled my wish," she said.
Aravind, assistant to Maniratnam, makes his debut as a hero with the film. Dharan has scored the music. Cinematographer Sukumar, lyricist Bhaskarbhatla Ravi Kumar were among those present. Cosmos Entertainment is producing the film.
