The mood of Chiranjeevi’s supporters was that of jubilation when the mega star officially announced his entry into politics this evening. They went round the town on scooters hailing their leader and describing him as the future of the State.
Under the leadership of Vamsi Krishna Dulipudi, Chiranjeevi Seva Samithi in Machilipatnam, Chiru supporters distributed sweets and played with colors, congratulating one and another. Several of the actor’s supporters celebrated the occasion by bursting crackers at different places in the town. A rally was taken out from Parasupet center to Koneru Center by a large number of Chiru supporters where crackers were burst, cakes were cut. Later Vamsi Krishna garlanded Mother Theresa statue at Lakshmi Talkies center.
Looking cheerful,Vamsi Krishna Dulipudi said that he already started arrangements to mobilize supporters for the massive public meeting on August 26 in Tirupati where Chiru is expected to outline the policies and programmes of his party. He also said that he will make sure all his people are comfortable and he is personally looking into different aspects of the public meeting like, food, accommodation and travel.
Chiranjeevi Seva Samithi members Prasad Viswanadhuni, Suresh Yadav Devaboyina, Mani Kumar, Bhanu Ambati and several other representatives expressed their happiness and celebrated the news.
