The dreams of cinema have always been alluring and each day, hundreds come to the city with big hopes and rosy careers. However, what they don’t realize is that there is a stark reality that awaits them and what they see is just an Oasis that brings them to the deepest of challenges. Truth is that there is constant search and struggle in the film industry and it takes a lot of determination and perseverance to chase the big dreams. Since that doesn’t happen often, depression sets in and the aspirants tend to resort to other measures of livelihood like flesh trade, odd jobs etc. As it is, the economy of Tollywood is weak due to several flops and not enough confidence is being generated among the producers. There are remuneration issues that are dogging as well. At this rate, it is not far that a heavy slump will occur in industry and one can imagine what dangers will wait for those who come with dreams. |
