Famous Tollywood pop singer Smitha started one Music, Arts and Dance school near Peddamma temple in Jubilee Hills. Nagarjuna, Nagachaitanya, Keeravani, Rajamouli, Ramachari, Muralikrishna and many others attended its opening ceremony. Speaqking in the function, Smitha said " since we teach music, arts and dance, the school has been named MAD School. Since long I had this dream of starting a school. I am happy that my dream has come true now. It is like a challenge to me.... My responsibility has increased now. Along with good training, we will also mould the students in to good human beings." Later Nagarjuna spoke " talented people are a bit eccentric.... and that could have been the reason behind naming this school as MAD. Bringing so many artistes on to one platform is not a small thing. We need more schools of this nature."
