The much-awaited engagement is finally happening! Tollywood star, Ram Charan Tej and Upasana Kamineni will be engaged today, laying to rest all rumours about the venue.
This was revealed in a press release sent out by Chiranjeevi’s family. Venue Temple Trees, the Kamineni family’s farm house near Himayathsagar is a beehive of activity as people prepare for the big event.
A friend of Charan's says, "This is a big event for all of us in Tollywood. It is a big vacation for us, where all of us are looking forward to catching up with each other and being part of the couple's big day."
According to tradition the engagement is being organised by the fiancé’s family and to ensure that everything goes smoothly, they are even having a “dress rehearsal” — twice over! Though the arrangements are very elaborate, a select few will only be invited to the engagement.
Both families performed a special puja on November 30 in the temple complex of the Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospital to bless the auspicious occasion.
