It has been ages since the mystery and suspense was on regarding the love story of Genelia. Buzz was on about her ‘friendship’ with Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh. As expected, they came up with the standard ‘just friends’ reply. But now, it appears that the cat is out of the bag.
Reports from Mumbai are flowing in that the big day has been fixed. Yes, Genelia and Riteish are all set to tie the knot, as per close friends of both. The D-Day has been fixed as February 4th, 2012 and the venue has been finalized as Hyatt Regency in Mumbai. Sources say this is going to be a close knit affair and very near and dear friends along with family are being invited.
From Genny’s end, the list of guests will have the likes of Daggubati Rana and few other south Indian cine folks along with her Bollywood friends. As for Riteish, the list looks large with the likes of Bachchans, Ram Gopal Varma, Karan Johar, Sajid Khan and others. Another grapevine is that Genny will continue her career after marriage as Riteish’s parents have agreed for that.
If all this is true then it would mean that a nine year old love story is now dropping curtains with a ‘They lived happily ever after…’ caption.
