Recently, Srinu Vytla announced that his immediate film would be remake ofDookudu in Hindi with Salman Khan. He bombarded the media with this announcement in josh of super success of Dookudu but we hear Salman Khan didn't show much interest in it and S rinu Vytla is now busy writing script with his group of writers for NTR's movie.
Sekhar Kammula also planned to remake his super hit, Happy Days , into Hindi but his plans didn't go well. So he dropped off the idea and made Leader in Telugu later and now is directing Life Is Beautiful.
Surender Reddy also said that Bollywood producers are asking him to remake his super hit, Kick, but nothing has been finalized yet. But Surender Reddy has chances, though, as director for Hindi Kick has not yet been finalized.
Though Telugu super hits are now regularly being remade in Hindi, Bollywood producers are not showing much interest in Telugu directors. They want the directors who know the pulse of Hindi audiences. That is why Prabhu Deva, who faithfully remade Pokiri into Hindi, is in much demand as he is now remaking Vikramarkuduinto Bollywood as Rowdy Rathore.
Remember even after the super success of Bodyguard , Malayalam director Siddique is yet to get a chance in Bollywood. Puri Jagannadh who made straight Hindi film, Bbuddah Hoga Teraa Baap also has edge than his other South Indian counterparts but he's now concentrating more on Telugu films.
