Silk Smita brother Vara Prasad has filed petition in high court to stop the release of 'The Dirty Picture'. Has he claims that what ever evidences/ video tapes gathered from producers or Ex-boy friend are not the only thing to be treated as bench mark.
If the film is based on the character played by my sister, it is okay. But if it is made on Smitha’s life story, it is highly objectionable because her life is wrongly portrayed,” he said.
He pointed out that going by the posters and pictures published in newspapers and clippings in television channels, The Dirty Picture portrayed his sister in a very obscene way.
He claims there is lot of different between actual facts and the gathered evidences. He is objecting the amount of vulgarity shown.
He claims the producers of 'The Dirty Picture' Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor should have consulted him for realistic information.
