Telugu cinema celebrities are showing solidarity and are supporting social activist Anna Hazare's hunger strike for implementation of the Lok Pal Bill. And this Lok Pal Bill forms an autonomous authority making politicians (Ministers), Bureaucrats (IAS / IPS) accountable for their deeds.
Hero Siddharth decided to go on fasting for today in support of Anna Hazare's hunger strike. In fact, Siddharth tweeted, I'm not eating the whole day today. I feel guilty eating when a great man who is fighting for me is not. I'm with anna hazare. Are you?”.
Telugu cinema hero and producer Mohan Babu is also actively participating in this moment. He's taking out a silent rally today in Tirupathi through his Sri Vidya Nikethan Educational Institution and called all the public to join him. Similarly Nagarjuna Akkineni urged everyone to support Anna Hazare's hunger strike for the porposed Lok Pal Bill. Nagarjuna tweeted, “Hello my friends/Support Anna Hazare today for a brighter india tomorrow/help eradicate corruption/jai hind!” Rajamouli also evinced strong support for Anna Hazare saying that it will be the beginning of a new chapter in Indian history and urged people to support Anna hazare. Director Sekhar Kammula will sit on dharna at Dharna Chowk on April 8 expressing solidarity to Anna Hazare.
