Brahmanandam left an indelible impression in the minds and hearts of Telugu audiences with his performance in around 800 films and he remained the ‘Comedy King’ for this generation. Many of his characters remained roll models for many of the upcoming comedians.
He was introduced to the film industry by Jandhyala as ‘Aragundu’ Brahmanandam and he became very famous with that character. Later, he played different comedy roles such as ‘Khan Dada, Nellore Pedda Reddy and as a silent thief in Vinodam. He earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records too. There was a belief among the Hindus that the God would give three chances to everyone to reach the peak. But Brahmanandam got many such opportunities.
Take for instance, that he was the main person behind the success of recent release ‘Dhee’, which was released recently, in which he played the role called ‘Chary’. Not only this character, he was the key person behind the success of many films, including the Sankranti’s super-successes like ‘Krishna’ in which he played the role of ‘Bobby’. readyLikewise, in another blockbuster movie of this summer ‘Jalsa’ also he played a key role such as ‘Pranav’ and created a sensation. After successfully getting through two seasons ‘Sankranthi and Summer’, Brahmanandam is now getting ready to storm the Telugu film industry in this rainy season as "McDonald’s Murthy" in the forthcoming release ‘Ready’.
Film Nagar sources say that his role in the film would remain a highlight in the film and would play a key role in the success of ‘Ready’.
