Never heard before, a hero asked for 20 crore rupees to act in a movie! But it happened recently. Tamil hero Surya demanded this whopping amount to act in both Tamil and Telugu versions of the remake of Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor starred Bollywood hit film "3 Idiots". Gemini Film Circuit has taken up the remaking of this movie and "Robo" Shankar is going to direct it. First Mahesh Babu was approached for Telugu version, but due to difficulty in adjusting dates, Mahesh couldn't take the offer. Then Surya was asked for and he is said to have demanded 20 crores, since he will be doing in both the versions. Of course, one should make hay while the sun shines!
