Release of Asin's Movie Stuck

Several Tamil Associations have come in the way of the release of Asin-Vijay starred Tamil movie "Kaavalan". The reason is said to be Asin's trip to Sri Lanka sometime ago. It's said that Asin visited Sri Lanka in spite of the ban imposed by Tamil associations.  The miffed associations then vowed to stop release of Asin's movies. However, when a prominent Tamil person asked Asin to write a letter to the associations stating that she likes Tamil people very much and he would see to it that the ban on her films is lifted. But defiant Asin said "when I did nothing wrong, why should I write to them?"
