Trisha Krishnan won the award for "Southern Star of the Year"

South Beauty Trisha Krishnan won the award for NDTV Lifestyle Hindu style icon as "Southern Star of the Year". Trisha won the NDTV Lifestyle Hindus beat its competitors, including Shriya Saran, hansik etc., and received the price of Farooq Abdullah.

Trisha said it was an honor and a crowning achievement to receive the award. No wonder the actress was overwhelmed to receive the prize shown in the middle of the guests. Superstar Rajinikanth, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgan, Praful Patel, Minister Chidambaram, etc. were among the guests to attend the event. Other awards are:
