Gopika Naa Autograph fame, will get married on July 17, 2008. She will marry Dr. Ajilesh (who practises medicine in Ireland) in a church. Following this, a reception will be held on July 20, 2008 in Avenue Centre hotel at 5:00 p.m.
On July 13, 2008, she was engaged to Dr. Ajilesh in her hometown Thrissur, Kerala. The grand engagement took place at Joyce Palace. It was spectacular when the couple walked the aisle, flanked by children showering flowers on them. Her parents, Anto Francis and Dessy Hunto, were present to bless them.
The couple gifted each other with diamond rings. Apart from close relatives and friends, Kerala State ministers Rajendran and Viswanathan were present in the function. Actors Bhavana, Biju Menon, Samvirtha, Ramya Nambeesan, Samyuktha and many more were also present to congratulate the couple and convey their good wishes.
Gopika, who landed into the film industry with great movies to her credit such as Kanaa Kanden, Thotti Jaya, Autograph, 4 The People and Ponniyin Selvan, was lucky enough to act with almost all major stars in Malayalam including Mohanlal (Kirthichakra), Mammootty (Annan Thampi), Jayaram (Veruthe Oru Bharya) and Dileep (Pachakuthira and Chanthupottu).
Among her other movies in Malayalam and Tamil, she has acted in a Kannada film Kanasina Loga. Her first Telugu film Leta Manasulu directed by Raju Upati was a flop in the box office. She did her own dubbing for her movies in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.It seems that Gopika will not act after marriage since she is going to Ireland with her husband on August 2nd and settle down there.
