It is a known fact that, two groups exist in the Telugu film industry: Pro-Chiranjeevi and anti-Chiranjeevi. The great divide or schism was put on an exhibition last year on the stage of Telugu Film Industry's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi attacked on each other verbally over the controversy of 'legend and celebrity' status.
The latest attack on Rajashekar by Chiranjeevi's fans (or allegedly) further proves that the groups within the industry are deeper than they appear. Rajashekar who is known for angry young man roles in Tollywood with films like Magadu, Anuksham, etc, feels that he was cheated by Chiranjeevi.
According to him, Chiranjeevi stole the remake rights of Tamil film, Ramana, right under nose from Rajashekar. "I bought the rights from the original producer and handed over him some advance. But Chiranjeevi camp met the producer without my knowledge and grabbed it. There are several instances," he accuses.
That Ramana remade with Chiranjeevi as Tagore that brought Chiru the image of a star with social conscience.
Not only Rajashekar and Mohan Babu, there are many other stars or actors who oppose Chiru.
Megastar Chiranjeevi on other hand has been trying to mingle with all the heroes
