She was first signed up for ‘Chandramukhi’ as Prabhu’s heroine. She thought that her role would become inconsequential because Rajinikanth’s heroine would get all the prominence. She was proved wrong.
A while later, when Rajini launched his ‘Kuchelan’/ ‘Kucheludu’, she was again approached to be one of the heroines. Yet again, when Simran found out that they wanted her to be the second hero’s heroine, she walked out. Meena is now playing the role and even before the film hit the theatres, she has started to get plenty of new offers. Rumors claim that Simran is not that happy with having rejected the offer now.
But she didn’t have to regret for a long time because she has now got the offer to star with Pasupathy, the second hero of the film yet again.
Attempts are on to remake the Bollywood hit ‘Taxi No 9211’ in Tamil. Pasupathy, the man who plays the second hero role in ‘Kuchelan’ is going to star in the role of the menacing taxi driver that Nana Patekar had originally played in Hindi.
Simran is going to be his wife in the film. This time, she has said that she is not going to change her mind and walk out of it.
