Unit members of Premabhishekam richly honored Dr. Brahmanandam to celebrate the moment of his getting a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. The cast and crew of the film garlanded him, almost drowning him in the petals. Tannikella Bharani read out a specially and poetically prepared write-up on Brahmandam's career and growth at the venue. Jayaprakash Reddy termed the achievement of his colleague as a rare honor to the all of the comedians' fraternity in particular and the whole of Telugu film industry in general
