	Popular child artiste of yesteryears Shamili made her debut as heroine with the movie "Oye", co-starring Siddhartha. After that she couldn't get any offers and career was in jeopardy. She opted to go to Singapore and pursue higher studies for some time. It is said that she did a cource in Direction, Camera and Editing departments. It is heard that she is thinking of directing a movie with the experience she gained in Singapore.

Shamili on Way to Singapore

As a child artiste, Shamili performed well as "Anjali" and went on win the National Award. Now as heroine of "Oye" she appeared on screen again, but audiences didn'd find any special attraction in her. She too is keeping away from bold shots and exposing for the time being because of her child artiste image. In the meanwhile, she is going to Singapore for pursuing studies further. Baby Shamili (Anjali papa) turns heroine!

Remember Baby Shamili? The cute little girl who gave a fabulous performance in Maniratnam�s Anjali?

Yeah, the same Shamili is debuting as a heroine with Siddhartha�s yet to be launched film. Directed by debutante Anand, this film will start rolling from October 1.

Shamili, the younger sister of Shalini and hero Rishi (A film by Aravind fame) was often in news for the past two years as the media has been speculating her entry as heroine. That finally came true now.

Shalini proved as a good actress before she got married to Tamil star Ajith Kumar. Rishi is trying hard to make a mark in Telugu and Tamil cinema. We have to wait and see what Shamili has in store as an actress. Let us wish the best for her.
