The movie has been released recently by changing it into colour from black & white. While older generation audience are rejoicing by watching it in colours, new generation audience are also equally enjoying it. Many of the recently released new movies are not able to cope up competition from "Mayabazar". While nearing 50 days successful run, the movie is still able to draw the crowds to theaters. If the trend continues like this and completes 100 days run, then it will create a new record of being the first ever film to be released in Telugu by changing it from black & white to colour and for the re-running of 100 days successfully.
