Dasari did a few goodu puthaani in nandi Awards

Nandi Awards announced, some of the winners was announced a few eyebrows. Although it is a common feature in each time you announce the winners, here is something we hear from the huge camp. He heard that the huge masses of the roof hit the anger and frustration.

Secretary for one of the groups said that "the Commission has sold Nandi awards. We can say with confidence, because, without given the best actress award for Allu Arjun in the Act to "prohibit". Action of Balakrishna of okay, but does not have any artistic pursuit to win the prize. "

He added: "the prize should be given to the settings and not for performance assessment or the massive box office." This is just to show how manipulation to occur in the selection of the winners. And knowledge of Dasari hatred against mega family, he did a few goodu puthaani .

Cold War between Producers and Dasari

There's an underground cold war that's going between all top producers and Dasari Narayana Rao. In what could possibly snowball into a bitter aftermath. Telugu cinema producers like Dil Raju, Suresh Babu, etc are not enjoying best of the relationships with Dasari Narayana Rao. The just concluded Federation strike is a classic example for their tiff between Dasari Narayana Rao and other producers.

Telugu movies, Telugu cinema, Telugu movie Producers Council Dasari Narayana Rao, producer Dil Raju, producer Suresh Babu

During the AP cine workers federation strike, apparently all the producers have unanimously agreed to give the federation employees the required wage boost. However, the federation employees did not accept that and instead went to Dasari Narayana Rao for his advise and approval. Later, after Dasari Narayana Rao's nod, the federation workers agreed to the Producers Council wage fixation. And this entire has miffed top producers like Dil Raju and Suresh Babu. The Producers Council opines that this is unfair on the part of AP cine workers federation to approach Dasari Narayana Rao and also wrong on the latter's part to give his nod individually rather collectively.

Prama Veer Chakra story kicksoff controversy

The incidence of claiming movie storys as their own by some unknown authors is on the increase in Tollywood nowadays. In the past, it was rumored that a mason created a lot of hulla bulla claiming that the story of Dasari Narayana Rao's super hit movie "Premabhishekam" was originally authored by him. Recently "Magadheera" story was also in controversy because of a claim in the media.

Now the latest one is about Dasari Narayana Rao directed Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming movie "Param Veer Chakra". Srinivas, hailing from Mahaboobnagar says that he is the real author of "Param Veer Chakra". He claims that he prepared it as a sequel to late NTR's "Bobbili Puli" (also directed by Dasari) and shown  it to producer Prasad Babu and hero Balakrishna, but they said at that time they didn't like it. Now they are making "Param Veer Chakra" with the same story. Srinivas is raising hell out of this issue through Raj TV.

On the other hand, with the separatist passions flared up in the state, cine industry elders are worried that this tiny spark may lead to an inferno!

Mesthri’s target is 'Muthamesthri'

Expectedly Dasari Narayana Rao’s Mesthri is creating controversy for satires on megastar Chiranjeevi. The movie was released today (Thursday, March 12, 2009) and the response is lukewarm. But megastar’s fans are boiling over the satirical dialogues aimed at megastar Chiranjeevi, his character and his newly floated party.
Almost entire second half is focused on Chiranjeevi in the movie. He has created a character called GK (played by Vijay Kumar) who aspires to become CM after doing charity work like Bhoodhanam for years. GK says he has not stepped into politics, he was invited by his fans.
When GK (read as Chiru) says that he drank ganji, a character retorts - “Now you have so many Benz’s.”
When GK says he has support of his caste, Dasari asks him, “What did you do for your community?”.
GK says that if he arranges a meeting, lakhs of people would attend. A retort goes: “If sex bomb Shakeela does, even more would attend.”
There are also references of selling party tickets for Crores, fans dying at Road Shows, satires on the style of putting posters of great men in party office, etc. All are indirect references to Chiru.
Although, there are many satires, the movie is not that impressive. With its cheap production values, incoherent script, confused screenplay, the movie hardly sustains the viewer’s interest. It is a big letdown as content-wise

Dasari’s Film On Daughter In Law

Like it not Dasari considers that he is a master at weaving stories based on human relations.
No wonder the director made a movie called Surigadu which centered round the relationship of a son with his father. Then he went on to make a movie called Mamagaru with himself playing the title role. This movie revolved round the relation a father in law has with his daughter in law and the rest of the family. Now it is widely believed among film circles that Dasari is trying to pen a story of what is happening in his own life with his daughter-in-law. It is a known fact that a tussle is on between Dasari and his daughter-in-law and the root cause seems to be related some properties and who the legal heir to them would be. Dasari would try to put all this and more masala in this film which would have some home incidents of his as per gossip. Dasari’s film on DIL would definitely be worth the wait.

Dasari’s political satire to star Mohanbabu, Srihari

A biting political satirical movie with prominent director Dasari Narayana Rao playing an important role is starring Mohanababu in the role of Dalit leader and Srihari in another major character. The film is produced under Sowbhaghya Media Private Limited banner. It is directed by Suresh Krishna.
A master plan is said to have been made to ensure that the film is really a biting satire on contemporary scene. It is likely to be completed in record time.

Mohanbabu, Dasari join hands: Target Chiru?

Guru and Sishya of Tollywood, Dasari Narayana Rao and Mohanbabu are all set to rock the silver screen together. It is well known that Dasari is doing the lead role in a film titled Mesthri, which is reportedly a satirical film on current politics

MAA failed to recognize me: Dasari

'I am the one who strived for the establishment of MAA and I am the one to play the key role in getting Chiranjeevi elected as the first MAA president. However, MAA did not recognize me', said Dasari Narayana Rao. He attended the MAA meet that was organized to facilitate the national award winners - Satish (director of hope), D.Ramanaidu (who played the main lead in Hope), Sukanya (producer of Kamli), KNT Sastry (director of Kamli) and Bhargav (producer and director of animation film Kittu).

Newly elected president of MAA, Murali Mohan, announced several key changes in the association. Now the channel is open for the other language film artists and makers to join MAA. And MAA also announced 70 thousand towards the eye surgery for Mukkuraju, who is the industry for the last 50 years as dancer and supporting artist. Given his financial position, MAA decided to pay the above amount. Dasari Narayana Rao also gave out 50 thousand rupees while Ramanaidu and ATA (American Telugu Association) donated 10 thousand each.

Talking about the national awards, Dasari said, 'Ramanaidu lived in his character in Hope. With his national award, he proved that he is head on with his son Suresh Babu in making films'. He further emphasized the need for more of such films. He also remembered that he won 4 nationals for Meghasandesam and 3 for Kante Koothurne Kanu film.

Though he appreciated all the new agenda that Murali Mohan is going with, he suggested that MAA should recognize and support the low wage artists. 'Rather than attending to the families after the death of the artists, it would be a good idea to support them while they are alive', said Dasari.

Dasari also added that the industry now lacks the discipline. 'Those who are creating problems for the producer should be kept away by the producers council. If the artists cannot bring the discipline in, they should step aside and leave the way', said Dasari.

Jayasudha, Ashok Kumar, Sivaji raja, Kadambari Kiran and others participated in this event that happened at Film Chamber on Monday.

Dasari closer to Balaiah

Dasari Narayana Rao was highly successful in film industry. In politics, he could see the same success. He got Rajya Sabha seat and later a ministerial berth which was stripped later.

Earlier, Dasari was close to Chiru but due to differences they are separated. Dasari could not attend tea party hosted by Chiru to film industry.

Dasari is making a film ‘Bobbili Puli’ with Balakrishna. Political analysts feel that this film will be a major boost to Balakrishna who is entering into active politics by next month. It may be noted that a film with the same title made with late NTR was a roaring hit which helped NTR immensely in his political campaign.

Dasari Narayana Rao back to direction!

Having lost ministerial berth in Union Cabinet, Dasari Narayana Rao has now decided to take up direction and also being producing more films on his banner. Although he has been actively involved in production through Siri Media (although he claims he doesn‘t own it), he probably wants to come out openly. According to our sources, he plans now a political film like Rajashekar‘s "Evadaithey Nakenti".
