Comedy King Brahmanandam is turned Director with his debut venture ' Jaffa '. After essaying numerous comedy roles in movies, the BRĀHMĪ script set to direct a new film titled Jaffa. A top actor and actress essaying guest roles in the film while Brahmanandam plays a full-fledged comedy role along with other sets of comedians. Vennela Kishore is said to have written the script for the film, and despite official notification is not made, the film has begun its shooting and takes place in and around Hyderabad. The title passes to Jaffa will be a laughing riot.

This star comedian has special bonding with Ram Gopal Varma ever since the role of Khan Dada he played in Varma produced Money (1992) turning out to be a huge success. Then Brahmi also played equally popular roles in Ram Gopal Varma's other productions like Money Money, Anaganaga Oka Roju, etc.

Two decades later, he is now doing a key role in Ram Gopal Varma's Telugu directorial venture, Appalraju that stars comedian turned hero Sunil in the lead role. Popular Tollywood comedian Brahmanandam has increased his remuneration. As per the sources after the success of "Namo Venkatesa" and "Adurs" movies, he took this decision. He got the good response for his roles in that movies and he has increased his remuneration from 1.5 Lakhs per day to around 3-4 lakhs depending upon on the shooting hours. And if any producer fails to pay him, the actor doesn't even adjust the dates it seems.
