Prabhu is the latest addition in Rajinikanth’s Kuselan/ Kucheludu, directed by P. Vasu. The film is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Katha Parayumbol. He plays the role enacted by Mukesh in the original. The original story is about the friendship between a film star and a barber. It is earnt that Rajini wanted to change the characters in the film as it could hurt the sentiments of certain sections of society.
Accordingly, the characters have been altered to a bus driver and conductor respectively. Jagapathi will play the driver and, Rajini the conductor. That Rajini was a bus conductor in Bangalore before he came into films is well known and this has aroused curiosity about the film.
