Vangaveeti Ranga Fans Warns Ram Gopal Varma

RGV has changed the name of the movie from ‘Bezawada Rowdeelu’ to ‘Bezawada’, but that’s not preventing director Ram Gopal Varma to stay free. Freshly, Vangaveeti Ranga group has warned the     RGV on the script and characters in the movie. The Vangaveeti outfit said that RGV has to face their wrath if he showcases late Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga in the wrong eye, and further cautioned him to set all things correct before the release.

 

Bezawada movie has already hit the controversy tag for several reasons and this fresh caution from Ranga outfit is jus building the craze into the project. Ranga unit members even advised Ram Gopal Varma not to create any further controversy and remove any argument-based scenes, failing which they shall stop the movie release in AP. RGV was not available for comment.

Rana Gets Another Big Bollywood Offer

It is known that Rana Daggubati turned the heads of millions with his debut Bollywood venture ‘Dum Maro Dum’. He got an immediate offer after that. That’s in the form of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Department’. Earlier RGV supposed to take Abhishek Bachchan into the cast, but due to dates-problems, he is now grooving in Rana into it.

 

He tweeted, “Due to date problems to match combinations with other actors I am going ahead with Rana Daggubati instead of Abhishek bacchan in Department”.

 

Right now RGV is busy making the film ‘Love Story’ (Oka Prema Katha in Telugu) in Mumbai and vicinities. The film tentatively completes shooting part by May first week and RGV will be in Hyderabad to announce ‘Bezawada Rowdeelu’ in his own production along with Shreya Productions Kiran Kumar Koneru. Vivek Krishna will be directing it.

 

Then he will go back again to Mumbai to start ‘Department’ and finish off by June 15.

Telugu film industry grapevine is that Ram Gopal Varma's recent much hyped turned damp squib movie "KSD Appalaraju" will have its own effect on RGV's next ventures "Dongala Mutha" and "Amma". It was prior to the release of "KSD Appalaraju" that Ram Gopal Varma could accomplish filming of "Dongala Mutha" within the schedule of 5 days. Mohan Babu seems to have attracted to RGV’s poster of ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatwam Appala Raju’. One of the posters say that ‘Chiranjeevi 150 va cinema ki Appalaraju darsakatwam vahisthaadani gossips vinipisthunnaayi’.

RGV Makes Villain Cry On Stage

Ram Gopal Varma may come across as a man who has no heart or feelings but to those who know him personally, he sure is a man who can touch hearts. A classic example for that was seen during the audio release function of his forthcoming film ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju’.

The evening was proceeding quite jovially till the time Narsing Yadav came on stage. He said “I was sitting somewhere in a corner in the industry when RGV sir gave me the break in ‘Kshana Kshanam’. Though I have done nearly 300 films, I still got my recognition through ‘Kshana Kshanam”.

He added “today, whenever a wife and husband pass by, they recognize me with my name and the reason for that is my godfather RGV.” Narsing’s voice was choked with emotion and tears were rolling down his cheeks. It was a heavy and emotional moment and all present at the venue were able to feel Narsing’s emotions. Even RGV’s eyes couldn’t hide the heaviness in heart.

Ram Gopal Varma meets Suri in Anantapur

Ram Gopal Varma has begun pre-production work for his new Telugu production, Rakta Charitra, a film based on Paritala Ravi. RGV today (October 4, 2008) met Maddela Cheruvu Suryanarayana alias Suri, the prime accused in Paritala's murder, in Anantapur jail and enquired about his equation with Partiala, his murder and the factionism in general. RGV took special permission from Police high officials in Hyderabad and met Suri in Anantapur prison.
Later he would also be meeting Partila Ravi’s wife Sunita in her village. RGV is expected to tour the area as part of his research on the subject.
Rakta Charitra (Blood Stained History) is to be directed by newcomers Dharma and Raksha, while RGV is producing it. The film will chronicle the life and times of Paritala Ravi. It will be made in realistic mode ala RGV’s Satya and Company.
Telugu Desam Party Minister Partitala Ravi was brutally murdered by his opponents at the party office in Anantapur on January 25, 2005. Suri, the prime accused, has been in jail and waiting for bail for a long time.

Ram Gopal Varma’s success streak continues. After delivering hits in Hindi recently with Sarkar Raj and Phoonk, he also tasted success in Telugu again. His latest production, Raksha, is collecting good revenues and declared a hit in the trade circles. Enjoying the success, he has announced another new film in Telugu. At a press meet held today (Sunday, September 28, 2008) at Poison Pub in Hyderabad, Ram Gopal Varma revealed about his new production. Titled, Rakta Charitra, his new production will have newcomers in the lead roles and to be directed by two young directors Dharma - Raksha together. It is to be produced on Zed 3 Pictures and One More Thought Entertainments banners.

Fictional faction with real incidents: RGV

“We have seen umpteen films on Rayalaseema factionism but we are filming this Rakta Charitra with realistic mode. It is realistic fictional film about real incidents and real characters. Catch the line – fiction with real characters and actual incidents,” informed RGV.

He refused to admit on record that the film is based on the real life character of deceased faction leader Paritala Ravi. “I can’t comment on the speculations but we made vast research on factionism and portraying it in realistic way like how I projected Mumbai mafia in Satya and non-governmental power in Sarkar,” he said.

He laughed when the media persons said that there were reports that he is going to meet Maddela Cheruvu Suri who reportedly involved in the murder of Partila Ravi.
