Drugs and prostitution seem to have become the closest allies to the Telugu film industry. With each passing day, there has been an increase in the number of cases and incidents related to drugs and prostitutes and their link to the Tollywood cine folks.
Now, another name has joined the list. A raid conducted by the cops in the hi-tech city area has led to the arrest of few prostitutes. One among them happens to be Nandini who did a side actress role in the recent release ‘Nagaram Nidra Potunna Vela’ starring Jagapathi Babu and Charmee.
Sources say the arrested also had one girl from Uzbekistan along with few pimps. While it is not sure what the next step of action would be on the girls, the Tollywood folks are remaining tight lipped about their friendship with Nandini. The coming days will give a clear picture.
