Priyamani who proved her daring attitude with bikini get-up in Drona is now all set to do a vamp role in Maniratnam’s Ashokavanam. She is doing the role of villan’s sister who falls in love with the hero. When asked about this role, Priyamani said that doing in a Maniratnam movie itself is a great thing and she is ready to do anykind of role in his movie.
The story of Maniratnam four-lingual movie titled Ashokavanam in malayalam, telugu and tamil and Ravana in hindi is leaked. The story is similar to that of our epic Ramayana. According to our reporter Bannu, Priyamani is the sister of Vikram who dies because of Abhishek Bachchan. Vikram kidnaps Aishwarya Rai who is the wife of Abishek as an act of revenge. This is the basic plot of Ashokavanam which resembles Ramanayna.
While the above roles are for telugu and tamil versions, Abhishek Bachchan exchanges roles with Vikram in hindi version and Pridhvi Raj replaces Vikram in Malayalam version. Aishwarya Rai and Priyamani play the same roles in all the four languages.
