Asin is currently making waves all over India. She has paired with Aamir Khan for the movie ‘Ghajini’ and is totally upbeat about the prospects. Reportedly offered many more roles in Hindi Cinema, she brushes aside speculation that she would permanently move to Mumbai.
'I'd like to work in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films and there is no question of sticking with just one language' she said.
She added that no matter what language she is working in, she would make it a point to dub with her own voice. According to her, 'only when the same artiste does the dubbing part will the character gain significance in a perfect manner. I would never let anyone else dub for me'.
Asin is currently in Mumbai and stated very clearly that when she works in Tamil and Telugu movies she'd base herself in Chennai.
Asin's pan-Indian features is fetching her numerous offers in many languages.
Says a smiling Asin, 'I am a girl from Kerala and my first role was in a Telugu film and I played a Tamil girl'. Testimony enough for her pan-Indian appeal.

Yes, Nagarjuna rejected director Sreenu Vytla's script, but not now. It was 4 years back. Sreenu Vytla narrated a script that was prepared by writer Gopi Mohan to Nag 4 years back, it was the time when Vytla was directing Venkey.
But the script was serious one and Nag asked Vytla to come up with script of entertainment & action.
So finally after 4 years , with great track record, Vytla narrated the script of King to Nag and Nag nooded his approval in the first sitting itself.
Sreenu Vytla says that the King is going to be blend of Nag's Siva and Hello Brother with Sreenu Vytla's style

So, we have it that Amitabh Bachchan has gifted his friend and colleague a Rs. 50 lakh watch - the platinum Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar. But, what is not known is the reason behind this generous gift….
However, filmi pundits have an answer to everything. They say that Big B is making every effort to revive his production company AB Corp and obviously he will need actors to star in the films by his production house. He just can’t possibly feature himself, his son and daughter-in-law in every flick.
Sanjay Dutt is not only a good Bachchan friend but also a very box-office friendly actor. So, this defines and justifies the lavish gift with an understanding that Bachchans too will star in Sanju Baba’s production.

Hansika Motwani is the happiest girl these days. She is busy both with Bollywood films and Tollywood films. Hansika says that she is grateful to actress Juhi Chawla for advising her to take heroin offers. “ It was actress Juhi Chawla who noticed my resemblance to herself and recommended me take up acting.
I am very grateful to her,” said Hansika Motwani. In spite of having a CA to manage her finances and a secretary and manager to manage her career, Hansika still gets her pocket money from her mom! Ask her to describe herself she says, "I hate interference and I don’t interfere in others lives. My motto is hurt never help ever."
Shriya had been in the news for controversial outfit since the time of Rajinikanth's Sivaji, where she had to issue public apology that she'd be careful in choosing her outfits! Well, she has really been choosing her outfits carefully since then, and the recent coverpage of Maxim proves her "careful choice" of outfits!
Now that she goes international, there seems to be this common presumption that "exposing" should increase as "exposure" increases! Shriya, who has entered the Telugu film industry with a girl-next-door image is now opening doors to controversies with her outfits.
All her recent stills in media indicate that she's deliberately sending out feelers that she's ready to meet the international audiences now! What more, she's starting out into the international domain, barely!
The successful director Sreenu Vytla is directing Nag's King and it is the first film in the combination of Nag & Vytla. Sreenu Vytla is already on cloud nine with success of ready.
And Trisha is pairing up with Nagarjuna for the first time in this film.Trisha is playing the role of singer and getting ready to sing for Nag in the film King. Siva Prasad Reddy is producing the film and the film is well planned to hit the screens, it will be released on 18th December.
These days, Kamal is looking very happy. There are two reasons for his happiness. The first one is the collections of Dasavatharam. Though the film received mixed reviews in many corners, the urban viewers still support the film and the producer has already reached the safety point in recovering his investment. Reports say that the Telugu version of Dasavatharam is also doing fair business in the Telugu Box Office.
The second reason is, Kamal got enough investment to test his next novel project after Dasavatharam. It is Marmayogi, a historical film scripted and directed by Kamal himself. Pyramid Saimira has agreed to invest Rs.100 crores on this project and Kamal will make this film on first copy basis.
The launch ceremony will be held in Mumbai Grand Hotel on July 13 amidst Bollywood's top artistes and filmmakers,as revealed by one of Kamal's close associates. Hema Malini is going to play one of Kamal's heroines in this film and the other one is probably Kajol. AR Rehman is signed as the composer for this magnum opus.
Anushka - Yoga teacher from Bangalore is presently busy in three flicks 'Arundathi', 'Baladur' and Chintakaayala Ravi, subsequent to this flick she has nothing in hand which is worrying her a lot.
During the time of Don, Okkamagadu she has hiked her remuneration so much that producers who intend to make flick with her had to drop their proposals.
Of late its heard that she has reduced her remuneration as well proposed to producers that she is ready for exposing as well skin show as much as possible, with this offers producers are rethinking on their projects again.
When a top heroine is asking for a small remuneration and that too ready for everything, then surely many directors would pipeline.
Director Sreenu Vytla's Ready is doing well at the box office. Hero Nagarajuna watched the film on the day of its release. Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ramcharan Teja watched the film in special screening held for them on Sunday Morning at 11am at a preview theatre of Prasad Labs.
After watching the film, Chiranjeevi appreciated the entire crew and cast of the film for making such wonderful entertainer.
Asian maleHardly is there anyone who would differ with this title that has been given to veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) after conducting a survey. Yes, the title is that of the Asia’s sexiest vegetarian male.
Touching that dreadful age line of 60 and already a proud grandfather, Amitabh still retains his charisma and magnetism. In the poll that was conducted by PETA, among other Asian contenders in the running, besides Amitabh, Madhavan was the only Indian contender. Among the Asian female contenders Bollywood actresses like Hema Malini, Kareena Kapoor, Mahima Chaudhry and Vidya Balan were considered. However, it was Hong Kong’s singer-actress Faye Wong who was voted as Asia’s sexiest vegetarian female.
The director of Peta in Asia-Pacific region said, “Going vegetarian is the best thing you can do for animals, the earth and your health. Plus there’s no easier way to stay slim and sexy — and Faye and Amitabh are living proof.”

Story
Govind (Kamal Hassan) is a scientist in USA. He works with the team that develops mass destructing biological weapon. He realizes that a colleague of him is selling such a bio-weapon to a terrorist from another country. In the process, he hides the weapon, but it gets shipped to India. A hit-man called Fletcher (Kamal Hassan) is after Govind. The weapon is clandestinely kept inside the idol of Lord Perumal. Govind pairs up with a girl (Asin) and runs away from Fletcher. Another cop chief (Kamal Hassan) is also after Govind. The rest of the story is all about how Govind gets back the missing bio-weapon.
Artists Performance
Kamal Hassan: Kamal Hassan has done 10 different characters in this film as hero (scientist), villain (hit man - in the lines of Terminator), chief cop, Prez Bush, 12th century Vaishnava priest, a Dalit leader, a Punjabi singer, an old woman, a Japanese martial arts trainer and a tall Muslim. The versatile actor has shown striking variation in all the get-ups. You would not recognize Kamal in the get-ups of villain, Prez Bush, Dalit leader, old woman and Japanese martial arts leader. His histrionics as Vaishnava priest are terrific. The hero and villain characters have the maximum screen time. The characterization of chief cop is the most entertaining followed by the old woman character among the ten characters he donned.
Others: Who will be left in the star cast of the film if Kamal does 10 characters, except for the female leads? Asin is good as Brahmin devotee who accompanies the hero for the sake of Perumal's idol. Mallika Sherawat is alright as the Telugu translator to the villain. Jayaprada did the role of Punjabi singer's wife and has no significant role to play. Napoleon is terrific in the role as Shiva’s devotee. Director P Vasu also did a guest role in the film.
Technical Departments:
Story - screenplay - direction: The basic story line of the film is about how a scientist saved the lives of millions of people by securing the bio-weapon as a hit-man summoned by terrorists chases him. The hit man and the scientist roles are played by Kamal himself and in the process hero meets seven more characters played by the actor. Since all these characters are played by Kamal, these characters are given more footage and much importance than usual. Hence, the story of the film takes the back seat to highlight Kamal’s Dasavatarams. Direction is not satisfactory. Screenplay is little confusing. The 12th century episode is well-shot. The connection between the 12th century episode intro and the climax is not clearly explained. Another flaw in the film is that the hero would be tossing around the idol of God throughout the film on the pretext of saving the world. The story writer incorporated majority of Indian religions (Hindu, Muslim, Christian and Sikh) in the film.
Other departments: Music by Himesh Reshmiyya is just average. The popular song – loka nayakuda – comes only during the end credits of the film. Mukunda Mukunda song is good. Background music by Devi Sri Prasad is adequate. Cinematography is good. Make-up department deserves a special mention for its extraordinary work. Editing is alright. Dialogues are just OK. Graphic work and special effects in certain scenes should have been better. The production values are extraordinary.
Analysis: The movie starts with an interesting episode set in the 12th century backdrop. Then the movie's tempo goes down till the character of cop enters. From then, the movie is interesting till the interval. The second half is not good. The climax is little interesting. The plus point of the film is Kamal Hassan. The minus point of the film is about diluting the story to give importance to all ten characters in the film. People go to a movie to watch Kamal Hassan. Half of the characters donned by him do not look like Kamal Hassan at all. Then why does he have to don those characters? On a whole, Dasavatharam disappoints a bit!
Story
Chandu (Ram), an engineering student, falls in love with Pooja (Genelia), an NRI who comes to visit her uncles in Rayalaseema. A mistaken identity makes Chandu kidnap Pooja who is about to get married. The rest of the story is all about how Chandu sends Pooja back to her place and how he marries her by convincing elders.
Artists Performance
Actors: Ram looked fine in his role and he seamlessly executed the same. His dance in the first song is very good. The scenes in the second half where Ram makes Brahmanandam a bakra are entertaining. Genelia is an asset to the film and the dubbing of Savita Reddy goes well with her. Brahmanandam as McDowell Murthy steals the show yet again with his hilarious comedy in the second half. He is like the second hero of the film. After Dhee and Krishna, this is the third film where he had the crowds in splits. Sunil did the role of a 'theda candidate'. His bharatanatyam (spoof of Sagara Sangamam) and the way he slaps himself is good (typical Seenu Vytla brand). The third impressive characterization comes from the kid who acts as JP's grandson. Jayaprakash Reddy and Kota are good. Nassar and Sudha in parental roles are adequate. The way Surekha scolding her son to vent frustration on JP is humorous. Tamanna and Navadeep did guest appearances.
Technical Departments:
Story - screenplay - direction: Story of the film is intricate. The screenplay in the second half delivered the much required punch. You do not see Seenu Vytla brand of comedy in the first half except for a couple of scenes with Sunil. Most of the second half belongs to Seenu Vytla. The way he introduced Brahmanandam and made him an integral part in the second half is strategic. He extracted solid performance from Brahmanandam without being repetitive. Direction of Seenu Vytla is good in the second half.
Other departments: Songs and background score by Devi Sri Prasad is good. The bonhomie song towards climax is a good on the screen. Dialogues in the film are in good health, away from vulgarity. We do except a better cinematography for a film of this stature. The money spent on the film could not reflect on its visuals, showing mediocre output in patches in certain scenes. Fights by Peter Hynes are well choreographed, but the script of the film does not really demand such buildup. Editing of the film is passable and the first half needs some trimming. Production values by Sravanthi banner are very good.
Analysis: First half of the film is mediocre. The second half is good with hilarious comedy by Brahmanandam. On the flipside, a better editing of first half and some of the fights would do something good to the film. This film is stuffed with ample commercial elements, mainly the vibrant comedy. Ready has potential chances to bring a hat-trick for Seenu Vytla after Dhee and Dubai Seenu. This film is worth a watch for the comedy.
