Satya Sai Baba Died: Putaaparthi Satya Sai Baba died today morning after battling for life for 28 days. Sri Satya Sai Baba died at the super specialty hospital in Puttaparthi funded by his Satya Sai Trust in his home town of in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. He was 84.
Satya Sai Baba's death news sent millions of his devotees into shock and depression and they are unable to digest the fact that Sai Sai Baba is dead and they are unable to believe this. Satya Sai Baba's health condition and his response to medical treatment for the past few days had been pretty slow. And specialist doctors treating Satya Sai Baba said on Sunday and he breathed his last at 7:30 am on Sunday. An official announcement on Satya Sai Baba death news is expected to be shortly made. After fighting for life for more around 4 weeks, Stya Sai Baba was dead today morning. Satya Sai Baba was on intermittent hemodialysis and on assisted respiration until Saturday evening at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medial Sciences at Puttaparthi.

Doctors treating Satya Sai Baba said he was suffering from multi-organ dysfunction and chances of his recovery are grim. With "Premisthe" fame Sandhya as heroine and Kamalakar as hero, Kamal Pictures movie "Hasini" has completed filming of songs in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket locations recently. Flick's presenter Bhuchepalli Venkayamma told that the songs were filmed on Sandhya, Afiya and Kamalakar in Krishna Reddy's choreography. The flick is being directed by B.V. Ramana Reddy and its dubbing and editing has been completed. Preparations are on to complete the other works also and release the flick by second week of next month. Giribabu, Aahuthi Prasad, Dharmavarapu, Ali, Krishna Bhagawan, Venumadhav, Surekhavani , Hema and others include the cast.

Kannada super hit movie "Aaptharakshaka" is going to be remade in Telugu by Bellamkonda Suresh in P.Vasu's direction with victory VEnkatesh playing the hero's role. Shankar, producer and director of Telangana origin who in the past made "Yamajathakudu", "Encounter" and "Ram" (a Nitin starrer) like movies is launching a flick in May 2010. He is going to introduce 64 new faces in this movie. The flick would be set in Telangana backdrop. Shankar says that though the story of the film is of Telangana background, he isn't going to restrict the new aspirants to Telangana region only. The film industry is one place where talent alone doesn’t work, one needs to have that stroke of luck as well to make it big. Right now, the talented director Srikanth Addala seems to be in that position. After having scored a super duper hit with his debut ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ in 2008, he is nowhere to be seen.
Sources say that he is working on a script which will have Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh in it and this project was to be produced by Dil Raju. But so far, nothing has worked out. Sources say that getting the appointment of the big guns and trying to work things out is surely time taking.
However, it is also the desire of the young directors to get into the big league right with their second film that is causing such hiccups. So Srikanth Addala seems to be having no choice but to wait for things to happen at their own pace. |

There is no exaggeration in saying that piracy is the biggest enemy for the film industry and this has been eating away crores of rupees. True to its impact, the film industry planned for a black day but the Government has assured that the PD act will be implemented in 45 days.
Since the film has created a lot of hype and the expectations are high on this one, even the scope of piracy is high. So, many are waiting to see what measures the makers are going to take to ensure that the film goes smoothly without getting pirated and striking a blow.
The film is all set to hit the screens on the 31st of this month and as per reports, even the piracy makers are also gearing up for the release. They say that movies like ‘Varudu’ stand a hot price in the black market so they will put in their efforts to grab a copy of it. This will be an interesting battle. |

Though the government has given the assurance that they would come up with a strong act, it must be said that the network of the piracy people is relatively quite stronger than the movie makers themselves. So now, a new idea is emerging among the movie makers to resolve this.
Apparently, a total of 30 people were identified by the industry sometime back. However, they got arrested by the police, bribed the cops with money and were released again. As such, no action was taken on them. Since this is going to be a routine thing, the producers have got a proposal.
It seems that they are looking at approaching them for partnership. So if the person who is doing the piracy is given the distribution rights then there will be no need for him to get into any sort of mischief and he can make better money than usual. Let us see how this one will work.

The time has come for the lean and lanky hero Varun Sandesh to prove that he is still the heartthrob of the girls. After the debacle of his last two flicks, he is now arriving with the new movie ‘Maro Charitra’ and this happens to be a remake of the legendary yesteryears hit with the same title.
Varun is pairing up with a new beauty Anitha and this also has Shraddha Das, Kota, Urvashi, Naresh, Prathap Pothan, Thalaivasal Vijay and others. The film is directed by Ravi Yadav while Dil Raju is the producer. The music for the film is composed by the talented Mickey J Meyer.
Interestingly, this is one movie coming from the house of Dil Raju without any pomp or hype. As it is, the act of Dil Raju and team pasting the posters on the roads created publicity but whether it will really create a ‘Charitra’ again or not, we will know in few hours. |

The Public Gardens is one place which stands true to its name as many people in the city use it as a hub to rest and relax. The sprawling green lawns often become the resting spots for range of people starting from beggars to the members of the neighboring assembly.
Now, another place seems to be getting a similar treatment and that is Prasad labs. Apparently, the lawn in the premises has been attracting the general public and they are spending few hours during the daylight here like it is public gardens. Currently, the security is not caring now since not much crowds are seen.
But with the word of mouth spreading faster, those who don’t have any work in the labs are also entering the space and using it as their resting place. If this continues then it won’t be long before the security will get alerted and start driving everyone away. |

Bollywood producer Vivek Khatkar's yet to be released flick titled "Lahore", which deals with Indo-Pak relations through sports, is eing barred from releasing in Pakistan. The film, shot extensively in Pakistan, is set for a global release on March 19. The Pakistan's Censor Board found the portrayal of Pakistan as negetive in the film. Producer Vivek Khatkar said "Our film doesn't have anything negative about Pakistan. The name of our film has been misjudged by the authorities. It is called "Lahore" because the climax of the film is set in Lahore. We have no intentions of hurting anyone's sentiments.

Puri Jagannadh has begun the shooting of his second film with Prabhas. The film has been titled as Ek Niranjan - a very catchy name. Bollywood beauty Kangana Ranaut is making her Telugu debut through this flick and the shoot has commenced from March 31st at Lahari Resorts in Hyderabad. Currently renowned choreographer Raju Sundaram is canning a very romantic number on the lead pair. Kangana is excited to be part of this project. “I like Puri’s films and I am feeling very fortunate to make debut in Telugu with his film,” she said. Puri termed the movie a pucca commercial romantic entertainer. He is planning to finish it off in a single schedule by July end.
It has Sonu Sood and Posani in another key roles. Music is by Manisharma and Aditya Ram produces it on his Aditya Ram movies banner.
