The impact of director S S Rajamouli is so strong in Tollywood that any film coming from his camp tends to generate a lot of expectations. And surprisingly, Rajamouli exceeds all the expectations. Right now, something like that is expected to happen again with his new venture ‘Eega’. Buzz is that it is going to create a wonder technically. Even Rajamouli once mentioned that he cannot do a film like ‘Eega’ again. A small example for that is, a shot was done using 2000 frames per second motion camera. This is not visible to the naked eye usually. This is just a tip of the iceberg.
Those who are working in the film say “It will be the ‘Avatar’ of Tollywood. The latest buzz across the tinsel town is that Kajal Agrawal is playing a hot item song in Rajamouli’s Eega movie. If sources are to be believed, Kajal Agarwal has just gave her nod to play a hot item number in Eega. This Rajamouli's experimental film is slowly turning into commercial edges after inclusion of this Kalaj item song and also the budget of the movie is going high where 5 crores have been spent on graphics and visual effects.
Further, Rajamouli is said to be adding commercial elements to pull ensure that this high budget film Eega would be pretty safe. Sources say that Rajamouli has approached Kajal for playing an item number and the actress could not reject it. Telugu movies ace director SS Rajamouli denies reports of roping in Nitin in Prabhas movie. Some time back it was rumored by the fourth estate that hero Nithin has bagged vital role in a Prabhas movie directed by Rajamouli. It was gossiped that Rajamouli zeroed in on Nitin as second hero in a Prabhas movie but the director has pushed down all guesses.
Rajamouli said that he has not planned anything for Nitin in Prabhas movie and also lamented that why is media going crzay about all such baseless news. In fact, Rajamouli tweeted, “Dont understand why reputed channels go for baseless news.haven't planned anything for NITIN in prabhas' movie”. Any hopes for Nitin featuring in Prabhas, Rajamouli movie could well be dashed with this Rajamouli's fresh clarification. Eega movie news updates: S S Rajamouli new movie Eega would resume shooting from May 1 in Hyderabad. Eega Telugu movie has already completed majority of its shooting but the latest Hyderabad schedule has been halted due to the recent strike by Federation employees.
Eeega movie stars Nani, Samantha and Sudeep in lead roles and the Hyderabad schedule would resume tomorrow. Eega, directed by Rajamouli, commenced shooting in February 2011 after an extensive pre-production activity by the creative team. It seems that Eega movie makers are investing crores of rupees in per-visualization for the movie. A specially designed set has been placed in Ramanaidu Studios where most of the Eega movie shooting is taking place.
Senthil Kumar, who earlier worked for Magadheera, Yamadonga, etc with Rajamouli is being roped in as cameraman for this movie and the unit is using a Scorpio Crane for the first time in the history of Telugu cinema and M M Keeravani is the music director. Sai Korrapati is producing this Eeega movie while Daggubati Suresh Babu is presenting it. Let's see whether Rajamouli, who is enjoying incredible directorial privilege and has not tasted defeat in his career, can pull things for Eega movie. Will he wont he?

Orugallu Rudrama - Director Rajamouli and Anushka movie is titled Orugallu Rudrama and the title really sounds unique and interesting. This Rajamouli, Anushka Orugallu Rudrama is a completely a female oriented movie where Anushka would be seen in a powerful character hogging the limelight.
Sources say that Rajamouli is planning to develop a script based on the true story of Rani Rudramma Devi and he has decided to rope in Anushka for this role. The star director is doing extensive research on the biography of Rani Rudrama, who belonged to Kakathiya dynasty. Orugallu Rudrama looks to be pretty powerful title and once again we would see Anushka in a commanding role like Arundhathi. According to sources, if things materialize, Rani Rudrama shooting might start after complettion of Rajamouli Eega and Rajamouli Prabhas movie.

Did contemporary Telugu movies ace director Rajamouli rejected Rama Naidu? Film Nagar sources are going crazy about the news that Rajamouli turned down an offer from Movie Mogul Rama Naidu to remake Ramudu Bheemudu.
Looks like Telugu cinema industry has witnessed some yesteryear classics and Ramudu Bheemudu starring Sr. NTR was a spectacle and Rama Naidu was the producer. And the same Rama Naidu wants Rajamouli to direct yesteryear Ramudu Bheemudu remake starring A1 Star NTR. But Rajamouli quietly said no to the offer it seems.
But why did Rajamouli reject the offer? Well, reports that Rajamouli does not like remaking yesteryear classics it seems. Who is the writer of Prabhas, Rajamouli movie? is the hottest topic in Filmnagar nowadays. It's customary that Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad provides stories for all the Rajamouli movies. But, it's heard that the story of forthcoming Prabhas, Rajamouli combo high budgeted movie to be produced by K Raghavendra Rao, has been written by a student. Filmnagar sources inform that Rajamouli has bought the story from the student for a hefty amount of sixty lakhs.
It is even said in film circles that, the story which has been acquired from the student is being publicized by Rajamouli as written by his father Vijayendra Prasad. Vijayendra Prasad's name would appear even in the movie's credits, it is said. How far it is true, can't be said, but a huge budget of 100 crores has been allotted for this movie, it is learnt. This movie is likely to get started in the month of November 2011. King Akkineni Nagarjuna's upcoming movie Rajanna is currently undergoing shooting in Hyderabad. Nagarjuna took a break for a few days for domestic commitments and Rajanna Telugu movie shooting would commence from March 15.
A huge set has been erected in Jubilee Hills Road no. 25 , Hyderabad for this Rajanna movie schedule and the shooting would continue till the couple of weeks. After this, Nagarjuna's Rajanna movie unit would leave to Vikarabad for canning the final schedule, which takes another three weeks in April.
Rajanna Telugu movie is Directed by Vijayendra Parasad (Rajamouli's father) and produced by Annapurna Studios. SS Rajamouli is directing the action sequences for the film. Rajanna an action drama billed to be made in the backdrop of Telangana Razakar Movement and Sneha is playing heroine for the second time with Nagarjuna after ‘Sri Ramadasu.

Telugu movies ace director SS Rajamouli is not directing Hindi Magadheera starring Ranbhir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. Rumors riffed that Rajamouli was directing Hindi Magadheera, but this creative director clarifies that he's not directing Magadheera in Hindi.
Rajamouli tweeted, "I dont know who Madhu mantena is.I don't know whether he is producing MD in Hindi or not. But surely I am NOT directing it. hope dat clarifies". Allu Aravind is producing Magadheera in Hindi while Madhu Mantena is executing this project.
This is the same combination that made Ghajini starring Aamir Khan and Asin, and the movie went onto become a blockbuster in Bollywood history. The same Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena combo is teaming up for Hindi Magadheera, another high budget movie. However the director for this Hindi Magadheera was said to be Rajamouli, but with his latest announcement of not joining the Hindi Magadheera team, the makers have to search for another director. And it will interesting to see who would direct this Hindi Magadheera!

 A Telugu movie in director Rajamouli and hero Prabhas combination is on the way. The movie is to be made under Arka Media banner with a whopping 60 crore budget. Naturally there is a lot of speculation going on in Telugu film industry as well as in the audience about this Rajamouli Prabhas movie.
It's customary for director SS Rajamouli to brief the media with the upcoming film's story line and its technical details at the time of official announcement of the film. But in case of this movie with Prabhas, Rajamouli didn't give any clue about the film and simply said that the story could be a fantasy, historical or a graphics oriented one. This is quite unusual for him and industry circles are at a loss to understand as to why Rajamouli changed his strategy for this film.
On probing into the matter, it was heard that hero Prabhas doesn't want the details of this prestigious movie to be published all at one occasion. Obviously he wants to bhild up enormous curiosity among the people about the movie's story, budget, casting and technical points. |

Hero Srihari has been selected for a special role in director Rajamouli‘s latest film starring Ram Charan Tej and Kajal. Srihari has recently acted with young heroes like Siddardh in Nuvvosthanante Nenodantana, Vishnuvardhan in Dhee and Uday Kiran in Viyyalavari Kayyalu, the first two being big hits. The shooting of this film is presently being done in Rajasthan after ten days of shooting in Kutch in Gujarat. Keeravani is the music director of the film.
