Tollywood Director Puri Jagannadh planning to remake megastar Chiranjeevi's blockbuster Khaidi with Tollywood Super Star Mahesh Babu. He is not planning to remake the movie with Chiranjeevi's son Ram Chran. Instead, Puri is planning to do with superstar Mahesh Babu.
RGV tweeted: "The one exciting news that I heard today is that Puri remaking Chiru's Khaidi with Mahesh Babu. Jagan's design of Mahesh's characterization is much better than what Kondandarami Reddy did with Chiru in Khaidi ." Currently Puri Jagan is directing Mahesh Babu The Businessman. Looks like Puri is planning another movie with Mahesh after completion of The Businessman.

Puri Jagannadh is currently directing Amitabh Bachchan Buddha movie in Bollywood and Puri is busy shooting for this movie in Mumbai. But on the other side, Puri Jagannadh is trying to become music director. Reports say that Puri Jagannadh is trying to compose music for a movie starring his brother Sairam Shankar and to directed by Puri associate Gopi.
Can Puri Jagannath compose music? Well, we've seen Puri jagannadh as good writer, director and producer and now Puri is all poised for yet another craft – music. It seems that Puri Jagannath has great taste for music and all his movies are known for good numbers. Aright, its time to wish Puri Jagannath good luck!

Hot actress Charmi is playing lead in Puri Jagannath, Amitabh Bachchan Buddha movie, and this is like striking gold for his sexy actress. Alongside Charmi, Puri Jagannath, Amitabh Bachchan Buddha movie also has Hema Malini and another heroine is yet to be confirmed.
In Buddha movie, Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of an elderly man who behaves like a teenager. And it will be really interesting to see how Puri Jagannath sketches Amitabh Bachchan's character. On the other side, Charmi Amitabh Bachchan combination also looks absorbing and once again Puri Jagannath will have to do some homework to blend this Amitabh Bachchan, Charmi chemistry.

Directors Puri Jagannath and Ram Gopal Varma have adopted a different stratergy to launch their audio for their upcoming movies. RGV's "Story, Screenplay, Direction..Appalraju" which has Sunil in the lead is on sets, the audio of the film which will be released soon is being planned in a unique way where the songs would be released one after the other in a weeks time i.e every week, each song. That is something new for the Telugu people who havent seen anything of this kind before. As we all know that RGV does something new everytime to promote his movies, has come up with this unique idea now. "Nenu Naa Raksashi", Puri's next is also being planned in the same way. So i guess puri is also following RGV's footsteps to gain publicity for his movies.

Action Hero Gopichand seems to be signed another film under direction of Puri Jagannadh, earlier the duo worked for Golimaar movie. The film will be produced by Nallamalapu Srinivas(Bujji).More details about this project yet to be known.
Mean While Gopichand is busy with the shooting of ‘Wanted’ film under the direction of B.V.S.Ravi and Puri Jagannadh is also busy with film ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ with Rana and Ileana in the lead roles.

The news is that heroine Priyamani has been cast in director Puri Jagannadh's forthcoming movie "Golimaar". The flick's story is inspired by the real life of encounter specialist Mumbai cop Daya Naik.

The title for Prabhas next movie has been decided as Ek Niranjan. This movie has Prabhas and bollywood babe Kangana Ranaut in lead roles. Puri Jagannath is directing the film and Aditya Ram is producing it on Aditya Ram Movies banner.
Ek Niranjan will be a big budgeted movie from Aditya Ram and the movie will have all the necessary elements to make it a mass masala entertainer and attract all types of audience. Prabhas will be shown in a different angle in this movie.
The shooting of Ek Niranjan will start in this month and will be completed by August.

Anushka is now the talk of the town. The film Arundathi is the flavour of the season and the success of the film has put Anushka on the top of every producer and director’s mind. The stupendous success of Arundathi has spurred producer Shyamprasad Reddy to dub the film into several Indian languages.
Director Puri Jagannath watched Arndathi the other day. He was very much impressed with the way the film was made. Puri was also highly impressed with the performance of Anushka.
Puri has now decided to approach Anushka and narrate a story to her. Puri has prepared a woman-centric story and he is confident that Anushka will fit the bill perfectly.
Puri is now busy with work for his new film with Prabhas in the lead. The film with Anushka will be taken up after he is through with is current assignment.

Top director Puri Jagannadh lends all his support to his former associate Parusharam. For the first time, Puri Jagannadh has lent his voice for a character in a film. He dubbed his voice for a character in his associate Parashuram’s maiden directorial venture – Yuvata.
The film starring Nikhil and Aksha in the lead roles is gearing up for release shortly. Parusharam felt that Puri’s voice would be apt for a character in the movie and it also brings value to the movie, hence he requested his guru to which Puri immediately obliged.

Actors Prabhas and Trisha will once again set the screens on fire in director Puri Jagannadh’s Bujjigadu-Made in Chennai. The audio of this Creative Commercials movie, produced by K.S.Rama Rao, will be releasing on April 18th. Mohan Babu is playing a key role in the movie.Music of the movie is being scored by Sandeep Chowta. Sandeep made ripples in the Tollywood ,by scoring the music for his previous Telugu Film titled Super, which stared Nagarjuna and Ayesha Takia. Aditya Music bags Bujjigadu music rights.
